I like that he's attributed a 2007 Benitez 'quote', in which he refers to his 'former team' - 3 years before he left! What a muppet.

It's had over 1000 retweets and every Chelsea forum is full of it - it's the main stick they're using to beat Benitez. It is absolutely laughable.

Thing is, that's good for Rafa, because when it's proven fake they'll look stupid.

Watching him trying to appease these people will be uncomfortable to say the least.

Really? And how do you guys know that Rodgers won't turn out to be easily Rafa's equal? You know I read posts like these and just to prove a point I almost want Rafa to fail badly at Chelsea, but then I realise that even if he did it none of it would be his fault for some people. The guy was a great manager for us but he wasn't perfect and the attitude that nobody can live up to him is utterly unconstructive... and a bit ridiculous frankly.
