Genuinely curious, but what was your opinion of other fans who didn’t want Rafa at their clubs or the Chelsea fans now protesting against him?

They are lucky they have him, of course they don't know it though the thick *******s. But proper footballing people will appreciate him for what he is - a tactical genius and a great Manager.

Chelsea fans have every right to be annoyed he has joined them, especially after his spats and comments about them when he was our Manager. Just like I would be well pissed if Mourinho ever ended up with us, but I would accept he is a very good Manager though.

Of course they are a rival, we hate them and we have mocked them for years for having no soul etc etc. We have had a fiere rivalry with them on the pitch for so many years now.

It's not a fact, it's wrong. We have two genuine rivals - United and Everton. That's it. Ask anyone at the club who our rivals are and that is the answer you get. Not Chelsea. The rest come and go - Forest, Blackburn, Chelsea, whoever. Chelsea might be rivals to kids and to people who don't know football existed before the Premier League. We had a temporary rivalry with them for about 3 years. Three years

Would you say Forest are rivals? Because we had a longer, far more intense rivalry with them than we ever had with Chelsea.

Chelsea are a Fad, an annoyance and I have nothing but contempt for them and there plastic fans, but I agree Utd and Eveton are our only Rivals......

Come on guys - did we expect Rafa to wait for the LFC job? JWH didn't even interview Rafa who's miles better than Rodgers.
And please don't give me that "let's support the manager" dog ****. I'm just upset that we could've & should've got a far superior manager to what we have.
But having said that, Rodgers will get my support as long as he's in charge...

You have not got the first clue, fact ( i refuse to use caps to stress a point ) of what kind of deal, legal deal Rafa has agreed with Chelsea and the Tzar. For all you know, fact, he could have it written into the contract that he picks the team.

I could not give a toss about Chelsea ... they are a mickey mouse club .. they might be doing better than us .. but they are still joke club to me .. United and the Blueshtie in that order ...
