Getting sacked from an interim job will near enough finish him.

Roman makes his move: he wants Frank Lampard to stay another year. It had to happen. On Sportsmail Online soon.

They would be crazy to let him go. He is scoring as much now as he did 5 years ago.
                        *Except Michael, who died.

No manager really has a chance at that club.

Cole, Terry and Lampard have seen off how many managers?

Great decision to keep him... gutted to be honest would have been a big blow if they had of lost him.

Not quite sure why Lampard gets so much stick.. he is a great player. Good professional, gives everything to his club, rarely injured and is a banker to get into double figures every season.

To be fair these players have been instrumental in Chelsea being so successful in recent years.
