Di Matteo got sacked while doing better than this. Will be doing well to still be there on Monday.

Of course he will if not Abramovich is stupider than I thought.
      Are we winning?

Looking bad for Rafa at the moment, problem you've got there is that players like Cole, lampard and of course Big JT have so much power and influence at that club that anyone going in and to try and change the philosophy of how things are done are going to struggle.

Regardless of this he needs to find a way to win with them though as currently he's not doing well enough, I think his record is worse than that of RDM at the start of the season.

Shame he ever went there tbh, his tenure will not be enhanced from his stint there IMO

Don't know, from the outside it looks more like than fans making it difficult for Rafa to do well than the senior players. If it's not quelled though, sooner or later one infects the other.

Oh I didn't mention the fans but that's a massive problem, the only possible way they'd have tolerated him was if he went on and won the league the fact he's amassed les points than RDM in the same amount of games have left the vast majority baying for his blood.

It's the fans that are making them ****?

The players are professionals, they get paid and they play regardless of the manager. Rafa picks the team, the tactics, and makes decisions during the match. How about it's actually his inability to manage a team (twice) that won the Champions League during the previous season?

He has chosen his post LFC clubs wrongly. No doubt about that. He walked into two really difficult situations.

As much as I love Rafa, I dont think he has done a lot to improve his situation also. At Chelsea he had two easy cups which he could have won to shut down his detractors a little bit - world club championship and the league cup. Chelsea getting knocked out of both was a huge balls up.

He should move back to Spain and rebuild his career from scratch.

Nah they should have stuck with a manager that won them the treble

That's a lot of words you just put in my mouth.

Someone mentioned player power as mitigating factor, all I commented was that the fans appeared more a problem than player power.

Lampard has scored 7 goals in last 9 games, Cole is probably the best LB in English football and Terry has been out for ages and was very good previous, players are not the problem. Some of the things the fans are saying are awful, i do remember some vile stuff been said about Hodgson by our fans whilst he was here. They are not happy and are expressing themselves in a vile manner (nothing new there)

Rafa IMO went there as a stepping stone, he knew that the Chelsea fans didn't like him, he knew LFC fans would be shocked at him going there, and he knew what the russian was like.. but yet he still went .

They have a fantastic team, stronger squad than most in world football and he is not getting anywhere near the results he should be. 16 points behind Man United, lost Club championship and knocked out of league cup (champs league obviously not his doing). For a guy with so much experience and with a team of such talent and ability he has done a pretty bad job thus far.

If it was any other manager at Chelsea, everybody on here would be tearing him apart.

Sorry dude, I must have misunderstood your post.

My point still stands though, if Chelsea are struggling who's really to blame?

if it wasnt rafa then everyone on here would be pissing themselves laughing at the plastic chav's woes.

at the end of the day he thought he was in a no lose situation, he would do well enough to up his profile and make madrid seriously consider him for the job. might have ****ed that option up though.

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I didn't expect it to be so full on either, disgraceful bunch.

With that level of vitriol he has no chance. Poor Rafa

Probably how most Chelsea fans think to be honest (the less mental ones obviously!)
