I feel a bit sickened by this to be honest but at the same time you can't be out of football too long. I'm sure he knows he's not there to build a legacy so it's more of a freelance gig more than anything.

I only wish Rafa enough success so that he can tell the media to **** off and keep manure off the top.

Good luck to Rafa, he really needs to get back in to management again to prove himself at the highest level.

I think it's a good interim job to take over. No CL pressure, only the league to focus on really. A shame it's Chelsea I guess, but if he was to manage in ENgland again it was only there or City that really were realistic options.

I can see LFC fans singing his name higher than Chelsea fans when we meet next time, will be a bizare event

Rafa Benitez is lining up a big money move for an LFC centre half in January. He has a very good chance of pulling the deal off.

For **** sake. He's not even in through the door and the cunts already having him lining up our players!
Um, think that's some chancer mate

As a caretaker manager? I'm not so sure players will decide their future based on a caretaker manager.

I think one of those middle three will be dropped if not two.

Theyre just too attacking and they dont track back. Ramirez should move the right hand side with hazzard and mata supporting torres. that way when they lose it ramirez will do what kuyt did for us.

If oscar can add more bite to his game then it might be mata that drops out because that one off the front man needs to be able to pick up second balls in and around the area like gerrard did.

Also I think he will have them playing on the counter attack and the city game will give him the perfect platform to push on from.

They are short in midfield though because mikels not great and lampard is too old.

Players sign for clubs all the time with caretaker managers, or signed by chairmen/owners. Do you think Di Matteo picked Oscar et al? Did he ****! Everyone knew RDM was one poor run away from the sack. Chelsea are favourites to sign him anyway, but Benitez will do their chances no harm at all.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It's all part of a plan to offload Chelsea's best players to us at cut-rate prices.

Indeed, but I thought the suggestion was that he would attract players from Spain and SA.
