Well, this is going to be interesting.

I'm glad for Rafa that he's got a job, and one where he won't be able to complain about lack of resources.

I'm glad that sections of our fans will now really have to move on.

I hope its a miserable failure though.... however much I like and respect Rafa that will never overrule my dislike of Chelsea.

Aye, that owner who only spend a billion on them and brought them success they could never have dreamed of a decade ago.

      Never going to happen

Rafa Benitez is lining up a big money move for an LFC centre half in January. He has a very good chance of pulling the deal off.
Once again, nonsense from twitter in the twitter threads only please

Hate Chelsea & hope they have a mare, sorry Rafa but hope you have a nightmare. Should be interesting seeing Rafa working under a man like Abramovich.

Anyways looking forward to seeing how he gets on, he has superb attacking options & a few tweaks in defence IMO is what he'll do first.

Yeah because Chelsea have had such a problem attracting players in the past

Well by attract them I meant he'll be able to sign them, and Spanish/South American players generally hold him in high regard. He'll sign good players if he's given money to spend, which he surely will.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

For **** sake. He's not even in through the door and the cunts already having him lining up our players!
hopefully it's carra. i used to moonlight at chelsea while managing l'pool in FM and buy the Liverpool dross for tens of millions then resign and concentrate on Liverpool - maybe that's what he's at

Gutted. The only positive is that he will drive Fergie to an early grave.

I can't understand people hoping he does well,Paul Dalglish the latest,He's Chelsea manager,I hope he stinks the place out good an proper just like I always hope whoever their manager is has an absolute mare. And any other manager of a team in our league.

If he was at a foreign club I'd hope he did well.

Imagine Rafa's Chelsea finishing above Fergie, and Suarez named player of the year. That will tip the senile old fool over the edge.

I love Rafa, but I really hope he is a massive failure there. Will have to rename the ****ing dog now!

Lol @ some of the posts on here over the last 24 hours suggesting that if Rafa does well at Chelsea that would put pressure on FSG / Rodgers. Because the two clubs are on such level playing fields right now aren't they? IF Rafa does well at Chelsea, and by that I mean much better than they were doing anyway (which really wasn't that badly), that wouldn't remotely mean he would have done great had he come back to Anfield. In the same way, if he "fails" at Chelsea, that doesn't mean he's a crap manager who wouldn't do great should he ever return to L4. The 2 jobs are chalk and cheese.

One of the lads in work today (a United fan) - "I suppose Rafa will claim that he signed Suso and Sterling?"

That rug really tied the room together.

Anyway... one of the most principally annoying things about Rafa going to the Chavs is the brouhaha it's creating amongst Liverpool fans. We are always embroiled in some kind of dramatic circumstance even when the topic in question objectively has no bearing on us!

                              Oh I don't know.
