Exactly.Originally posted by Nigey View PostFirstly it's about wanting Rafa to do well.
Secondly, we aren't competing with them at this point in time, so the point that we want them to do well is irrelevant. And, it would be nice if he can prove those idiots that they were wrong.
Does that in the next six months and then moves to a good job elsewhere.
perfect for all concerned.
Thing is though, Roman will offer him the job FT I reckon.. then it gets more complicated for those of us who wish him success.

they have had very easy games recently though........Bar Everton.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostOf course it suits you to re-frame what I said that way, but it's a misrepresentation.
I was referring to the poor form they were in when Rafa took over and the irrefutable improvement since._____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?

This is all going nicely to plan. Don’t get me wrong I loathe Chelsea and their fans as much as anyone. I have ever since I went down the Bridge for a Liverpool match and saw a Chav punch a police horse in the mouth. Class. But Benitez at Chelsea is different.
I want them to win the league. We’re not going to and the sight of Rafa lifting the trophy has at least an outside chance of giving that sour faced **** Ferguson a coronary. Pep Guardiola will dismiss Abramovich for the grubby gangster he is and join either City or the grief stricken United where his reputation will take a sudden and unexpected nose dive. Rafa on being offered the Chelsea job full time will tell Abramovich where to stick his plastic flags and return to his spiritual home. The project that was proving so promising until corporate anarchy broke out can resume.
