What I'm trying to say (and I'm having an absolute mare so far) is that just because Rafa could be doing well, doesn't mean that Rodgers should come under any extra pressure just because of a manager we could've had.

We should assess Rodgers based on the resources available, the results, tactics, personality and relationship with various aspects of the club, and the current environment (club and Premier League) he finds himself in, not on whether Rafa is doing well.

Inevitably he will be compared to Rafa because he was available to us and was overlooked in favour of Rodgers.

I don't think I'm exaggerating at all. In my opinion, he's in the top 3. He rattled Ferguson, rattled Mourihno, must be a reason they hate him so much.

The question should be:

If Rafa does well, how can the king maker at LFC justify his decision not to talk to him in the summer?
