                      I thought at first he was saying he 'joined in', for want of a better phrase. But then I thought he might be saying that the fans' antagonism to Rafa may have also spilled over into antagonism towards him, because of the LFC connection obviously.

                      I'd say the latter is a lot more likely for anyone remotely sane.
