it's a bit weird alright. He'll be managing Porto next

No disrespect to Rafa but I hope Madrid win **** all.

My love for Rafa knows no bounds. Ill follow his career for as long as he is in football I think. Pleased for him here.

He made it pretty obvious that he wants Madrid and another crack at Liverpool. Well hes got 50% done.
        *Except Michael, who died.

Genuinely so happy for him. He finally has resources and it will be interesting to see his masterclass next season

Hope he wins everything in sight for them over the next few years.

Gawd how I wish he was still our manager.

Yeah....I mean....perhaps now isn't the time for Rafa (back at LFC)........but **** me how I long for those days when we bossed Europe. I used to say at the time some fans took it for granted and I stand by it. Big time. Took the piss how much some took it for granted. We are miles away from that now.

Rafa Benitez left liverpool by mutual consent on June 3, 2010, same day five years ago. Look where he is and where we are now.

                    Yep.

He's not been a runaway success since he left us, and you'd have to say Napoli was a bit of a failure. But, that said, this is what has happened since we so ludicrously sacked him.

The conjunction of those last two pics are uncalled for and hilarious.

seeing the emotion in the guy when he often comes across as so controlled makes you realise what it means to him. never seen another manager get so emotional when joining a club, even though its his home town.
he would have blubbed like a baby if we would have taken him back.

                                what a top bloke
