I'd kill for a bit of mediocre right now.

Confirmed as manager now. Going to be fascinating too see what he does with them. Not much scope to change things.

As much as I hate fake Ronnie and 1 or 2 other Madrid players I would love it if he is super successful. If he is it might even generate a bit of positive press in this country for Rafa but knowing our media they would still look for some sort of negative angle.

              Good luck Rafa.

Delighted for him. Ridiculously derided by plenty of our fans. I doubt Madrid will change for him but glad he's finally got the chance to manage them.

Top manager but without winning the league/CL he's going to get the standard 2 years at that club. Good to see him getting his chance at Madrid though, he certainly deserves a shot at it.

hope it all goes well for him. the madrid fans and press can be *******s though, as can some of the snides from the players to the press.
rafa is a stubborn fella, i hope they dont get on his back too early.

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Given their relationship, I find it somewhat amusing that Rafa often ends up at clubs where Jose used to be the manager.

Inter, Chelsea, and now Real Madrid.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I would take ridiculous joy from seeing Utd get to the knockout round and for Rafa to do the damage.

I'd be happier if they didn't get out of the group

Good luck, hope he does well even if it's a club I really dislike.

He's defo up against some task with the current Barca team as competition.
