I think that Benitez is made for a team like Spurs...... they spend enough cash to buy good players but still need tactical advantage to compete at the very top. Although Spurs are very happy with their manager right now so i can't see him going there.

A lot depends on where Guardiola goes. Maybe the guys who run man city would appoint Benitez if Pep didn't go there. Especially if they crash in the champions league this season as Rafa might be the man to push them to their promised land of european glory.

He would actually be a good manager for United but (a) their fans would riot (b) i don't think Fergie would have it either (c) i would like to think that Rafa wouldn't go there

The madrid fans and club are a joke alright though. But you know what, surely it wasn't a surprise to Rafa. I think the only reason LFC managed to keep Madrid at bay 2 or 3 times is because Benitez didn't want to fock off to a club where he would only last a season when he could have build a dynasty at LFC.

Well i think that was the plan anyway. Fockin Hicks and Gillett really ****ed us over. When you look at a first 11 of Reina, Finnan, Carra, Agger, Arbeloa, Alonso, Mascherano, Gerrard, Kuyt, Riera, Torres and compare it with the garbage that we see us with now (who would get into the team above??
