              2-0 Atletico
              Aguero

And again, Chelsea Dagger gets played over the PA

Love the goalscorer announcement in the ground...

(in sensible english voice and accent): the goalscorer, Sergio Aguero

(in loud and shouting Spanish): Gol gol gol gol gol.....Kun Kun Kun Kun Kun AGUERO!!!!

I somehow doubt Mourinho will be taking the credit for this result
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

                  Wonder what Nando's thinking...

He left Atletico to come and win things with us. We've won nothing, Atletico have won the Europa Cup and the Supercup.

Have to say, Inter look a shadow of the team that played under Mourinho. Out classed by Atletico. Could just be down to match fitness issues.

Still think Rafa was bonkers to take the Inter job. Anyone who takes over a team who have just had the most successfull season in Italian football history is going to struggle.

The league title is a minimum requirement.
                    Forwards.......

That game means so little, the Mancs lost to Zenit and there's been lots of other odd results. Rafa is up against it though, in more ways than one. I hope it works for him but I don't think he can win.

Ofcourse he can't win. How can he possibly match what Mourinho achieved there? Mourinho got them to massively over-achieve last season and Rafa is an idiot for taking over. No matter what he wins it won't be enough. It won't be long before Jose sticks the knife in for tonights defeat. Beaten by Athletico yet again

If he wins a domestic double and they get to the semis of the CL (minimum)...that'd represent a great season IMO. No-one wins consecutive trebles, you'd have to be demented to demand that as a minimum requirement.

But yeah no doubt he'll be discredited whatever he does.

Anyone see that Nick Collins cunt interviewing Rafa after the match asking him about 3 times on the bounce about his interest in Dirk Kuyt?

Did the stupid **** not know about Kuyt last night saying he's staying at Liverpool??

Rafa was having none of it.

Didn't see it, I couldn't bear it any longer after the commentator said "The Mourinho era is well and truly over. Inter - fallible. Benitez - beatable."

That's the point though, even a 'successful' season for Rafa over there, will not match what they had before and whatever he does, he will always have failed to achieve what they did before he arrived.
