Ok ok settle pettle. I thought Barnie would have been 1st to jump but no he's gone back to lurking.Originally posted by Tee View PostIts not about taking the bait, its a general observation - predictable stuff that comes back when players are discussed.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I did not take it as aimed at me, honest.Originally posted by Sarb View PostWasn't aimed at you. Just a general comment. It's more what you see on Twitter than here

Twitter is like the extreme version of a fan forum, a forum on heat so to speak, so no surprises at the views aired on there tbh."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

Well believe me or not I didn't. I just get narky when people jump on others backs for having the audacity to question the quality of a signing. This is a forum for opinions both positive an negative, and I enjoy reading (not agreeing) with the variety of opinions shared.

Methinks the lady doth protest too much....I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

I'm always encouraged when I read this. We're going about things in the right way. I'm loving the way we're approaching the game to be honest. I think we're going to score many wonderful team goals this season!Originally posted by SB View PostHe told Liverpoolfc.com: "At the beginning it has been a little tougher than the sessions in Spain, but we know there is a little more running involved in this league.
"However, we do a lot of work with the ball and I think in that respect the sessions are very similar to back in Spain.

i hate reading **** like this - especially about a young/unproven player
for exampleBrendan Rodgers backs Iago Aspas to take Liverpool's attack to the next level
Rodgers on Borini when he signed
andHe's a big talent, 21 years of age, he scores goals, and his passion, focus and concentration is a very important part of his game - and a big part of what you want from a player.
"I think the supporters will love him. He's a multi-functional player who can play in a number of positions and someone I believe has got great growth.
He is arguably the best physical player I've worked with in terms of his pace, power and fitness.
"Mentally, he's very strong. We've got a player who is on the up and someone who I think Liverpool will benefit from
so i'd prefer it if rodgers just kept it just a tad more low key
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

This team will score some amazing goals and play some football that the Anfield purists will absolutely love. We have some pace as well now to see some deadly counters on the road as well.

Suarez (hopefully!), Sturridge, Aspas, Sterling, Ibe, Coutinho - All pretty rapid!Originally posted by Tee View Post

We used to have such a slow, pondersome team a few years ago. So nice to have some "jet-heeled" players in the team again!
