I don't think Suárez is all that quick. He's got quick feet with the ball and he's nimble but he's not that fast across the ground.
And I'm sure Gerrard is nowhere near as fast as he was..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

that was my point re borini
when i heard rodgers saying how physical and quick he was, i was excited, granted he had a few injuries but still not once, not even in pre season games or when he played against oldham a? league one? side, has he showed any of the attributes
i'd rather, for these types of players either nothing gets said or it was just played down a little bit
"Aspas has so far settled well and gives us a different option up front, if he continues to work hard he should prove to be a useful addition"
it all just hits me of a bit of houiller's "next Zidane" or "viera" comments
by all means big up 'big' signings - just hope it's not a tactic to lower 'need' for some class signings by bigging up the squad playersLast edited by PTP; 30-07-13, 01:25 PM.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

definitely mate, sure we always do it, i suppose some people do it more in hope that player will succeed.
yeah the next zidane/viera comments are so cringey, the welsh xavi is another one. Definitely prefer to keep schtum and not big the player up. Much rather be pleasantly surprised than utterly disappointed and deflated

I was afraid you two might agree about that.
