    You are?

Ee, you can be so obscure, Garrrrrrry.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Thought we defended well from the front today and he certainly paid his part.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

It's hard to judge Aspas, I thought he had a poor game with the ball but his work rate is phenomenal and has excellent movement, he epitomises the term defending from the front as that's exactly what he did

I don't think he's that poor. He doesn't hide and he nearly created a goal on the counter. He'll come good.
            Are we winning?

A little rough around the edges and too weak atm. Too much being expected of him atm. Lets be honest he wasn't a massive signing and so we can't expect too much. He puts in the effort though and I think he'll adjust.

Be fine once we get Suarez back and he's just being expected to come in and do 20mins as he adjusts.

He's only playing because he's Ian Ayre's son, right?
                  Oh I don't know.

Showed a lot in pre-season but just can't see him getting the chance to flourish once Suarez is back. Sturridge, Suarez, Couthino... No room for him. Needed to be getting a few now to stake his claim for a place but he is going to have to do it from the bench. More work in the gym to beef up and he could be quality but not ready yet, it would seem.

I don't think passing the ball consistently to a team mate is too high an expectation; he loses posession too often through his infuriatingly poor distribution.

He's ordinary. Good technique, good link up play, but no outstanding pace or power. Just not a threat to the opposition. If I'm the manager of the other team, Aspas doesn't worry me at all. He's a superior player to Borini though.

I didn't see that. I saw him getting the ball & having no support, no midfield runners. We could ask him to hold it up until options come, but we know he's not strong enough for that.

Aspas is a tricky player to open teams up when we are trying to break down a bank of ten defenders. He'll hassle & Harry but he's not a player to have when under the cosh.

I think Brendan gambled and went for the win. He knew Sturridge would tire so tried to give him support. Personally I'd have gone with Alberto.

He was piss-poor today. Think there's a player somewhere in that 15-year-old's body, but the next couple of months should be a write-off as he adjusts to intensity of the league.

Won't be expecting anything from him for the time being.
