Yeah there has been few too many sly ones thrown out in the media alright. Getting used to LFC airing their dirty laundry in public over recent years, keep that **** in house. Seeing a different side the Rodgers this season.

And it does nobody any favours. It makes Brendan look bad and it makes whatever player he is on about look bad.
Mignolet's feet, Sakho's devotion, Balotelli's suitability, Moreno's lack of PL experience, and so on. Don't need to read about it coming from the manager especially when we have had players like Gerrard, Johnson, Skrtel and others turn in some really awful performances this season and get praise showered upon them.
Keep it in house and say what has to be said to players away from the media.
I want Brendan to turn things around and be a major success, but think from here in I am just going to have to start avoiding his interviews because it is not worth getting annoyed over his habit of trying to deflect blame when things are not going smoothly.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

You can look at it a number of ways. As you lot have been negative, I'll put a positive spin on.
His players have been under a lot of pressure, so he identifies that they've had tough times, but they've come away from the glare and knuckled down and got back on track. Makes some fans look at the player in a more positive light again.Forwards.......

Don't see that myself. He's been at pains to say that the young lads need time and will come good. Can't see what is incorrect about that. I guess you can say it's an excuse in moaning about why we aren't higher in the table. But if the youngsters do start performing now (as some are) and we climb up the table (as we are) then it's hard to say he's wrong.Originally posted by baitman View Postits like hes trying to ensure the **** isnt on him. brent-like.
come on, you love himmmmmmmmm lololForwards.......

There was a time in the first half today when Sakho sliced a pass out of the air and it went behind him - he tends to have one of these small wobbles in him each game and I don't get why.
He's easily our best defender and I'm made up he's getting games, but for a CB who can hit it fast into feet and be brilliant on the ball - better than our others CBs - he still has a slip up in him.
Still, he was very good today and of late has been a breath of fresh air.

Perhaps it's because he's a human being and thus susceptible to the odd **** up?
You realise that Kompany sliced a clearance for Coutinho to score, Vidic always fell over around Torres and Terry is prone to own goals. Was muß, das muß.

The very best make mistakes. They just make them less often than the also rans.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostPerhaps it's because he's a human being and thus susceptible to the odd **** up?

Sakho is in form & long may it continue. He has a lot to prove and he'll get the opportunity to do so. I've had doubts about every defender at the club, but if they cut out mistakes then they'll all be great players. The ability is there.Forwards.......

I'm not sure I see these supposed errors from Sakho, maybe I'm blind to them after witnessing the numerous cluster****s that Lovren has coughed up every time he's taken the field.
We need to build our defence our Sakho, he's got all the potential to be a top class player who will only get betterKurtangled in the McFadden thread 16/01/08

You've probably forgot his great games from last season, such as conceding 3 in ten minutes away to Palace to rubber stamp the title to City. I know it's hard to imagine since we only conceded a paltry 50 goals in the league last year, but we weren't too hot before Lovren came either. And that was in a team ridiculously high in confidence.Originally posted by Gazzla View PostI'm not sure I see these supposed errors from Sakho, maybe I'm blind to them after witnessing the numerous cluster****s that Lovren has coughed up every time he's taken the field.

But I agree he will improve and he's showing form now and aside from the odd clanger he's on the right road.Forwards.......

Seen stats on LFC News yesterday:
Over 95% pass accuracy.
100% tackle success.
7 Clearances
2 Interceptions
No fouls conceded.
Had the most touches and passes from all our defenders too.
Sakho.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I forgot the Palace game was solely down to Sakho, thanks for reminding me.
Nothing, absolutely nothing to do with Skrtel and Johnson though. The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.
