He's not great, but he's showing enough to suggest he could well be in the future. Needs to stay injury free until the end of the season. Get a proper run of games under his belt.

Yeah, staying injury free is key. Just as he builds up a head of steam he seems to get injured. Hopefully he can remain fine for rest of season.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostHe's not great, but he's showing enough to suggest he could well be in the future. As a person? or as a player?Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostYes he is.
He has all the attributes to become a great player. But having played 10-15 games so far this season, he can't be called great yet, far from it. He's good and probably our best centre back.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

thats hardly a complimentOriginally posted by RichC;3050068Best Centre back we have at the moment, good on the ball, assured in the air and a great platform to launch attacks which is something we've been missing this season.
Certainly not perfect as of yet but has the potential to improve from an already pretty impressive standard.
Ps but he is very good

Clumsy.
FWIW.......I take little stock in the vast majority of stats that can be pulled out and I'd expect a large proportion of the top successful passing percentages to be occupied by defenders along with defensive midfielders.
But its still nice to see how well the current back line are doing, especially in comparison to the cluster**** of the early part of the season, and Sakho is integral to that going forward.
Would have anticipated him out the door in the summer considering how 'out in the cold' he was with Rodgers, but thankfully that seems to be in the past."I will make the boys feel your support"
