Sakho is the same as he's always been. Very good with the odd heart attack. Just happens our defensive bar is now so low he looks awesome.

Yeah, staying injury free is key. Just as he builds up a head of steam he seems to get injured. Hopefully he can remain fine for rest of season.

He has all the attributes to become a great player. But having played 10-15 games so far this season, he can't be called great yet, far from it. He's good and probably our best centre back.

Certainly not perfect as of yet but has the potential to improve from an already pretty impressive standard.

Of players that have attempted >500 passes in 2014/15, the player that has misplaced the fewest is Mamadou Sakho (58/525)

FWIW.......I take little stock in the vast majority of stats that can be pulled out and I'd expect a large proportion of the top successful passing percentages to be occupied by defenders along with defensive midfielders.
But its still nice to see how well the current back line are doing, especially in comparison to the cluster**** of the early part of the season, and Sakho is integral to that going forward.
Would have anticipated him out the door in the summer considering how 'out in the cold' he was with Rodgers, but thankfully that seems to be in the past.

Yeah, he's been really good, but maybe he needs to cut back on some of his passing out of the defence.
