First off, think he had a good game last night. The ex Chelsea lad for Besiktas looked okay, but he dealt quite well with him.

Secondly, I'd like to touch on when he's in possession of the ball. When it's on that left foot of his, it's like a wand. Great zipping balks and he looks totally at ease. But when it comes to his right foot...... He takes an age to control it. And more often than not he will try and coax it on to his left foot. They tend to be the few times he gives it away and are generally when he has his one crazy moment per game where he puts the opposition on the front foot.

What's weird, is when he is clearly forced to use his right foot, he's not that bad with it. He hit one across the backline yesterday over Skrtel and Ba's head and into the feet of Can. Clearly a nightmare ball if you can't hit it with the right foot.

So I don't know why he has this fear about using his right foot, but it's why he looks like Bambi on ice at times and it does let his game down. His indecision making on his right foot has plenty of times allowed the opposition to close off a passing lane and meant a pass back to Migs who hoofs it to no one in particular.

Does anyone know how serious his injury is? It would be a big blow to lose him now. Imagine having to play Lovren WITHOUT being able to move Can into midfield
