I am convinced the fact that uefa decided not to extend the ban when they could easily have done so suggests he will get a slap on the wrist in a few days time. I think Sakho's legal team may have played a blinder. I will be very, very surprised if uefa decide to ban him next week. If there was a chance of a further ban they would have extended the provisional ban imo.

I just think Sakho's legal team must have a very strong case that the substance should not have been on the list in the first place (as it is not a performance enhancing drug) and that's why uefa have backed down. Let's not forget they said a decision will be made in a few days so if they decide to ban him he won't be able to play in the euro's anyway.
