Did anyone doubt he'd tuck away his penalty? Germans

I love him already. I'll confidently predict he'll be brilliant for us this season.

have we got a song for him yet. this might make a good base.

Offers more going forward, so he's the white Viera for me.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Haven't managed to see any of the friendly's- has he got enough punch in his tackling to be compared to Viera?

I'd say so yes, he's not got the telescopic legs, but he's a bit of a beast all the same.

He seems a bit more refined, looks more likely to nick a ball off a player than dive in, but certainly doesn’t look afraid of a challenge. It’s a sign of the times I suppose, Viera wouldn’t get away with a lot of the tackles from his early Arsenal days if he was playing now.

"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."
