We are one of the biggest clubs in the world, with one of the top managers in the world, trying to get back to the top of the tree, hes soft and I will gladly see the back of him, puts a shift in 1 in every 4 games. Loses possession and within in 4 seconds will give away a foul usually borderline red card foul. He cannot do it against the lower clubs and he always looks like he is carrying timber. Whilst I have seen him have good games, score great goals I can only ever remember him putting one real blood and guts performance. At the end of the day its football, **** happens, he goes so be it, hes is not a pivotal and endlessly replaceable

And if we keep our main players we will be in a fantastic position in the summer to take another step next season. Can is looking for a big signing fee IMO.

Aye, but we haven't won anything in six years. And that was the League Cup. Whatever way you look at this isn't a winning squad, at the moment. And while that is the case players will move on and bigger ones than Can.

As for Can leaving. I haven't seen the RAWK thread but I don't think he'll be a huge loss. He's not a great DCM and we need one so we can trade up in a way. On the other hand he's better than Wijnaldum and potentially Henderson so it's a shame the squad will be worse off.
