Shame though, would have liked him to hit the ground running. We have decent players who can replace him now, which is something that didn't happen before.

This is it, we also have other players of different styles which means we can now change formations and setups, something we didn't have the luxury of before so I'm not unduly worried.
Disappointed for Lallana, how unlucky is that. Hopefully he'll be back sooner than the 6 weeks.

A lot of the papers seem to be saying he'll be out for 6 weeks or at least 6 weeks.
But the offal are saying up to 6 weeks, which suggests that that is the most. It might just be semantics I know, but I think I'm right in saying that the Spurs game is 5 and a half weeks from the injury, so he could well at least be on the bench for that one.
