The comparison of Llallana and Adam is totally ludicrous. I'm baffled that people would suggest it. Totally baffled.

Didn't the majority of Adam's goals and assists come from set pieces, when you took that from his game you werent really left with much.

Lallana is absolutely class. Can see him establishing himself in the first team very quickly.

It's only a question of what kind of glove. A regular, woolly one or a creepy-as-**** Sakho type.

Yes they play in a similar position, but Lallana is far more versatile, has a far better work ethic, is far more skilful and productive and is far slimmer.

Other than that they're identical

He is also two footed, has been captain of his boyhood team and is very intelligent on the pitch.

I've got nothing personal against Lallana, he's an ok player and at £15m I'd be very happy. I would've been happier with Schneiderlin though.

My concern is primarily the cost and with the imposing sale of Saurez we're making a rod for our own back now. If we need to replace Suarez then negotiations are going to be difficult, not only will we have the £60-£80m from the sale that everyone will be well aware of, we're also happy to throw £25m at players of Lallana's experience and level.

Still, I think he'll fit in well with our style and should be ok.

Ha! Didn't help that we made a £7 million pound player a pivotal one in our engine room. Especially someone who couldn't pivot and didn't have an engine.
