He isnt better than average. We would have been better off keeping a shelvey or properly developing teixeria.
For me, he was a waste of money from day one. That trio of him lovren and lambert were akin to houlliers diouf diao and cheyrou. They got him the sack.
For me, lallana was always a ****e signing. He hasnt brought anything to the team. His stats are terrible - and thats not even taking into account the fee he paid. If he was a free transfer it would have been an okay squad signing but nothing else. The sitter he missed at home to united last season summed him up.Comment

Agree Dave. Lallana has the ability but just needs to offload quicker as he tends to want to take too many touches. If there's movement ahead of him he needs to pick his passes quicker.Originally posted by dww View Post

Aye. I think the same applies to milner and coutinho. I've always said you need 3 goal threats (meaning players who should get more then 10 goals a season) in a side to challenge for honours.
