He was getting ripped by the home support so our lot decided to point out that Lallana was 6-1 up. What's not to understand?

I think its more to do with the fact that most of our lot just don't move. Its confidence in other players, not himself. His touch and control is sublime and players seem to just sit around watching. When he plays little one twos and through balls we really cut teams open, but to often its just him and maybe Coutinho willing/able to to link up like that. Its no coincidence we looked **** hot with Cout, Firmino, Can and Lallana against City. They all move around and have the technical ability to rip teams open. Throw Sturridge in there when he gets up to speed and he should have a field day, even Origi too.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostPlays football with a stutter. Tekkers, Milner, Ibe, Lucas, Allen etc just don't do that stuff. Ive has time on his side and loads of ability. The rest i have my doubts"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah

Good post. I think Lallanas a really good player, and Klopp clearly rates him. Even in yesterday's cameo he introduced pace and quality and directness in our attacking play that had been previously lacking - including the only decent through ball of the game - if he'd played the first 60 mins he'd have created more and we'd perhaps have had a different outcome.Originally posted by Harv View PostI think its more to do with the fact that most of our lot just don't move. His pass to Sturridge was something else.
I think we need either Coutinho or Lallana on the pitch to stop us from being too predictable and one-dimensional. We really lacked creativity yesterday and it was all a bit too crowded for Firmino at times (and he didn't play very well).Sack swinging like Dub-D40 on a door hinge

I think he should go in the summer. His reputation and price haven't dropped too badly because he's been decent and he still starts for England (although he's worth nowhere near what we paid for him, as he wasn't then), but for the £15m-£18m that we might get back, we'd be stupid to keep him here doing what he does now; not that much.

Agreed. I'm sick of him.Originally posted by Daffy Duck View PostI think he should go in the summer. And what is it about him when he tries to play a ball out wide to the right? Gives it away / telegraphs it almost every time. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

For the type of player he is, he needs that extra bit of pace and a more powerful shot to fully fulfil his potential.
It's kind of too late now to develop that. Think he's 28 or something.
He's the sort of player that in a slightly lower level of football would be having a field day but, as it is, this league is just that little bit too fast paced for his game.
I like him but he should be squad player and not a starter.
