Another one of Rodgers signings that has been predictability pedestrian.

He is a bag of **** of a player. Mr Stepover. He is a 6 out of 10 in loads of categories but not an 8 or 9 in any. Way out of his depth.

25m is a sick joke. If someone thinks that we would get 15-18m back for him then they are deluded. We'll do very well to get £10m back for Lallana.........no doubt he will be on a juicy contract as well.

I got slated when I said he will go the way of Stewart Downing. I wouldnt be surprised if someone like Pulis or Fat Sam bought Lallana in the summer.

I think we can get that much we sold Carroll to West Ham for £18m, and he was both injured and ****. And a wreck. Lallana is an England senior international, first team starter, he's still got a good reputation in the League... Maybe Saints will take him back, or Spurs, Stoke, whatever, it's not a problem to pay £15m in this league anymore.

We need more than a strong XI though don't we? We need a strong squad, whilst I agree that we can do with more quality, I'd keep Lallana and think he performs well enough to be kept on. He has featured and shown well in our best performances this season.
          Modifying post.

Yeah very frustrating player, plays like he's in slow motion. Might be decent as a squad option but certainly not in the starting 11, is an infuriating player.

He just doesn't do much really apart from slow down our play, technically very good but seems to struggle when there's in any way a high tempo. 0 goals 3 Assists this season & 5 Goals 3 Assists last season, that is nowhere near good enough.

£25m is a significant outlay for a squad player though. With Klopp we should see some more of the youth coming through. We'd be better spending a few 'low millions' on some seasoned professionals.. the likes of the Gary Macs of this world... who would be safe stand-ins for the odd game to rest key players.

He reminds me of Vladimir Smicer, you know he has talent and you've seen him perform well elsewhere, but you don't know what his best position is and bar the odd game he never really seems to influence the game as you think he should.

Obviously Smicer had a great end to his LFC career with the goal and penalty in Istanbul
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                  That's unfair to Smicer.

Joe Allen has scored more league goals this season ffs.

I like Lallana - or want to - but he just doesn't punch his weight.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yeah I want to like Lallana.

He's got a ridiculous first touch, you can see he has ability at times and he clearly has the hunger and work rate.......but he's just not productive enough, for the money we've paid, in a squad that isn't producing enough in the final third, well he's just not up to it. He's just one of many who are decent enough for squad players but lack the quality to be good enough to win games, take us up the league and be relied upon
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Yep, we are pretty much carrying an attacker who's as much of a goal threat as Mignolet, Sakho, Skrtel etc less than Skrtel even. Joe Allen threatens more in tiny cameo's from the bench! Centre backs, DM's etc comfortably outscore him, it's nowhere near good enough, theres no excuse, even some of the worst players in the leagues history like Gosling, James McClean Scott Sinclair have scored a couple!

When you think of Ferguson's Man Utd sides, his squad players stepped up and delivered everytime they came into the side, despite us knowing how ****e most of them actually were. We've got too many like Lallana who don't step up when needed. Like you say, he should be influencing the game, and he does have the odd the game where he looks good.

Like Benteke there's better suited players out there for the style we're clearly trying to aim for. And as you've said he's just not productive enough. Largely it's his 10 touches when 1 will do that's grates on me the most or deciding to beat a man again when he's already got in to position. He's a baffling player.

Klopp said that Adam always has to play in his post-match comments. That struck me as odd.

I can see why Klopp like him because he keeps possession in danger areas very well, BUT it still doesn't get away from his no goals in the league.

He seems to lack confidence to have a shot when he's in good positions.
