those lads can go, meant anyone of use.

I'd like a holding type mid.
    Someone like Fekir for mid/attack
Someone for the front 3, or 4 judging by yesterdays formation!

That would cover losing Can/Coutinho, AOC/Lallana being unreliable.

Left out of the World Cup squad. Good chance to rest up and get himself right.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

From an England point of view, he should have went, the rest of the midfield is ****e.

From our point of view, get him well rested and ready for next year.

I think it would have been a risk (both for the player and for England) to pick him given that he has only played 20 mins since coming back from injury. While he will not doubt be disappointed given he's been a regular in the side I think it's the right call
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

shocking decision imo. Englands player of the year, one of their best technical players and integral in their qualification. Granted he's had injury problems but he looked good coming on against Brighton. Very promising signs.

I'm not bitter at all. Couldn't give two ****s if he plays for England or not. Just think it's the wrong decision when you look at the state of that squad

I suspect he will actually still go, one injury to anyone but a goalkeeper and I think he will be the player called up, we have a number of players who can play in multiple positions (Delph, Dier, Young etc) so it will make it easy for him to be named.

If he gets some mins vs Madrid and has no more injuries I think the chances are someone in the squad will pick up some sort of injury and he will be in.

I quite like that Southgate has a hardline on players with players who might not be fit enough. Too often in the past the England squad has been half full of half fit players.

The point about a lack of creativity in midfield is a far one though and Lallana would be in there in Southgate's ideal squad IMO.

I leak a little bit of poo every time lallana come on the pitch, he has lost his pace and trickery and tries to make up for it by putting studs on someones foot like hes reinvented himself as some sort of baddass mutha****er with neat hair and smooth skin.
A walking yellow card and just a thin smear of moisturiser away from a straight red.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

He got one first team yellow last year?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He comes of the bench and instead of doing what he was once good at he tries to dive in a bit too much. Not up to match speed and trying to make a few ****house tackles.
how he isnt getting a card must be because the refs think 'ah, its only powderpuff alan, he didnt mean it'
Look out for it, its the troof.

He's played 84 minutes since the 11th Feb in the league (that's over 12 games) with no cards being shows. How on earth you can come to that sort of conclusion on his play

i cant be arsed looking through match highlights to try and prove my point right at this moment.
dont just look at stats though, you're better than that.

He was really good when he came on the other day.

I think people can be so harsh on players returning fro injury. Accusing him of lacking pace (he never had any), and lunging into tackles. I think he's just been rusty to be honest.

Brilliant player to have on the bench for the final. If we're chasing the game he can create something. If we're ahead he's clever enough to keep the ball and slow the game down.
