If we signed him wouldn't Fekir more likely be coming in as a forward to cover/rotate with Mane or Salah?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

lallana was brought on as sub to cover for salah.

although lala has played as one of the midfield three he has also played on the right of the front three.

either way, its a serious downhill for him now.

I think he'll get some games in the front 3 for sure but going by all the briefings from journo's he's wanted as the creative midfielder then they mention we also want a multi functional attacker to cover the 3 gods.

It's not far fetched to think they both could compete for the same positions. You will be complaining of squad depth if either of Fekir or Keita gets themselves injured. Fekir is not our player yet btw.

I hardly see him being sold anyway. He won't go to the world cup and is likely to be fresh for the start of the season.
            Are we winning?

Nope because we'll have Wij, Milner, Fabinho, Hendo and Ox. There's nothing wrong with our depth in midfield (or in defence) hence I dont complain about it, we have 6 good players there which is why we still fielded a very decent midfield despite a horrific run of injuries there. See, that's what depth does!! We needed a bit of a quality upgrade there but the depth was fine. The depth of the front 3 was not and is not, thankfully it sounds like that'll be rectified this summer.

Indeed. That's why I said "If Fekir signs..."

lallana came on for the second half against torino and his fannying around makes my stomach acid rise.

watching him play is so frustrating as when he was at the top of his game he looked great, in moments or even odd matches, but whether its due to his prolonged injuries and not having a settled spell of fitness or just a general decline its clear he isnt and never will be the player he once was.

the ball will be played to him and he often just bounces it straight back. if he holds it he will run 5-10 yards then lay it off to someone who often has nowhere to go with it, then he runs away. it may occasionally look like he is taking a defender and creating openings but often this isnt the case.

he will pass to a team mate where they are stood instead of a yard or two in front of them so they can take the ball in their stride and we can then continue some forward momentum. this makes the recipient harder to tackle or close down as he is more mobile. instead, the poor bugger has to check his stride or step back to take the ball, and he is then being closed down so the only option now available is a sideways or back pass...
and wheres little alan gone, a quick scan around the pitch shows the little badger haired imp has ran away again!

to see the penetration and movement of his team mates and feel the rush of our attacking flair, then to have this skinny little bandit with a white mohican robbing a living in our team isnt doing anything for me whatsoever.
the sooner we sell the long term injury ridden fraud the better.

Especially as inexperienced no mark managers like Klopp keep picking him... I mean, what do they know?

Lallana hasnt regained his form pre-injuries. The sharpness and the legs are not there at the moment. He needs to get rid of the attention drawing skunk hairstyle and get the hours in at the training facilities

Hope Lallana is sold during this window tbh. Struggle to see what he offers, no end product, definitely a weak link, the team has evolved well beyond his capabilities.

He’s still got a role to fill against lower standard teams but I can’t see him forcing his way into our strongest starting X1 too soon.

Yep. We need a squad FFS.

Lallana will have a challenge to get on the pitch, but he has ability. Surely everything is set to get the absolute maximum out of the likes of Lallana, Sturridge etc.

Lallana is finished as a LFC player....he's lost whatever attributes he had before his injuries and WILL struggle playing in the team...Shaqiri should have com on as sub instead of the Ex-Wham man....time to sell him even in cup games he will not offer anything now..needs to go back to Southampton or a lesser club like that...injuries have finished him playing high intensity football.
