Thanjk you.

He was never 'that' good a couple of years ago either. It's just that we were really ****. I liked him back then but Shaqiri gives us more off the bench.

He was never world class, but a couple of years ago he was a good player and we were a better side with him in it.
I'm not sure that it is ability that he lacks, for me it's an understanding of the way that we are trying to play, he just doesn't seem to get it now.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Not sure why Liverpool fans are always so happy to write players off and dismiss any past achievements as soon as they have a bad spell or are out injured.
Went though the same **** with Henderson with some arguing his influence in 13/14 was overplayed.
Think Lallana is perfect for what he needed on Monday, come on to keep possession and help see the game out.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
He's always looked better after having a run of games - unfortunately we've moved on now and can't really afford to give him a run to get back into sync unless we have an injury crisis.
I wouldn't actively look to move him on - but if we were to leave I don't think we'd miss him too much.

Yea yea, we'll see. The guy's a machine, presses like the duracel bunny, silky touch, shields the ball like Iniesta and pretty good vision/passing. If he stays fit he'll be a starter before the season ends. Him and Keita with Hendo/Fabinho sitting in behind is a dream midfield. Gini/Milner cant touch him if he's fit.

I take it we always have to find one player to moan about?
Lallana is a solid squad player. He must know his chances of getting lots of game time is limited, so lets see what he can produce when he comes on.
Its great that we have a squad with players of his ability on the periphery, we've not had that before.
The only reason im moaning about adam 'mohawk' lallana is he is getting some game time and hes ****.
He comes on and tries to recreate the zippy lightweight dervish that he once was but now he goes blundering in with a late tackle and if often left to wave his arms around while the game goes on around him. Hes finished.
If moreno was coming on and looking like a disaster then he'd also be getting it.
If there were no weak links then we'd all be happy.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I’ve never been a fan of his and outside of his 3 month period played as an AM at the start of two seasons ago his time here has been a failure. Either injured or just not productive enough for an AM.
I think he seems a good lad and well liked in the squad but from a playing perspective he seems to play the game at a different pace to the way we want to - his lack of pace and need to take an extra touch affects his ability to impact the game. He still has credit in the EPL though and we may have missed a trick not selling him this window, had we signed Fekir I suspect he’d have left.
I think if his minutes are down at Xmas then he’ll angle for a move and we’ll still get ballpark £20m for him. I still think we’ll sign Fekir and then Lallana will struggle.
It's too early to write Lallana off. He was great two years ago and then injury obviously last year couldn't get going because of injuries. Pre season was similar, couple of niggly injuries but if he can stay fit, he's definitely an asset playing as the most advanced midfielder in the three.
8 goals and 7 assists from 35 apps in 16/17. It's great to have his experience in the squad even if he doesn't get much game time this year.
fans nowadays are more fickle than ever, or maybe the internet just makes it seem that way.

You reckon he only played well for a three month period? Not sure many people would agree with you on that.
I think he'll struggle to get back to being as integral a part of the team as he was, mainly because he's always needed a run of games to get back to sharpness and he won't get that now. Our style has evolved as you say, but he's played well in a Klopp team before and Klopp definitely used to have strong love for him. It's not that he fundamentally doesn't fit Klopp's way of playing.
To say he's been a failure bar 3 months is odd. Still, it's all about opinions I guess and as you say you've never been a fan.
