We should have sold him in the summer Chris - his stock was still high and plenty of Premier League clubs would have paid £20m for him. If this is a bad one we have an injury prone depreciating asset on our hands.

I feel for him. I broke my big toe last week, and being injured sucks. Being injured so frequently when it also deprives you of doing your job must be devastating.

        Hope he gets fit soon.

Much as we are doing with Sturridge now I wonder if managing his training regime and appearances (not that there have been many of those right now) would be a good idea.

Least he gets paid when he's ill

He's got to be down to his statutory sick pay by now.

I wonder if he should consider retiring from international football..?

It's hard to tell if this actually an injury or an 'International Injury.' He has had some terrible luck with injuries but I hope this is the latter as we have a lot of games coming up.

Might as well....he’s semi retired from club football

Should not be at the club ... he’s almost like a spice boy reject and lingering around the players and club like a bad smell

More than a touch harsh, not to mention unfair.
                      Oh I don't know.

Klopp’s a big fan of Lallana and he was in his favourite 11 up until the injury last preseason. So much revisionism as per usual.

Let’s wait to hear the extent of the injury.

He was in Klopp’s favourite 11 until we signed better players.

Sadly he's just one of those players that breaks down easy. It's never going to change and if anything it's going to get worse now the older he gets.

I think that combined with brutal training sessions has meant he's no longer capable of being of a top level player. Sad but true.

As above, he should have been sold in the Summer.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

This. Players like him and Sturridge just pack it in and focus on getting a much club football as they can.
                              * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

when he played for Southampton their fans always mentioned his body was not up to top flight football, always thought it was odd as his injury record was fine, but he was routinely subbed on 60/65 mins for them.

Have we just ruined him with our intense game?
