Leicester reportedly want £60m for Maddison, which is nuts imo. United heavily linked with him. He's good but I'm pretty sure Leicester only paid £20m for him 12 months ago. How the ****'s his value trebled in a year?

Presumably it is to put off other clubs but I guess part of it is a stand on the basis of Leicester were prepared to stump up £20m (which is a fairly sizable amount for them) for a unproven player at this level when no one else was. They allowed him to prove himself at this level, developed him further and feel that they should be rewarded for that, particularly if he goes off to another English club.

He's good but his value is probably somewhere in the middle, about £40m seems fair.

Delighted for him. I think he now falls into the category of players that are more important off the pitch than on it, but there's definitely still a role for him.

When I saw the bench yesterday before kick off I did worry if there was enough goals there. I didn't think Lallana would be the one to prove me wrong

It was a fluke, dont think we could rely on that bench to provide goals.

Looked at several reviews of the game and the player ratings for our 3 boys in the midfield are coming out at 4 or 5 out 10. IMO that is about right, very disappointing. Thought all 3 were poor.
