Nice to see him intercepting and putting his foot in, lets wait and see the results if his urine sample though

Two games on the bounce, too much to hope for.

After 2 years of injury/poor form the guy has put in a MotM performance in a position where we've been a bit flat in recent weeks. It seems most people are just pleasantly surprised and hope he can can continue contributing during the run in.

Not sure why you feel the need to put a negative slant on this. It's a bit weird.

I don’t think it was a negative slant. Nev just retained a sense of perspective on Lallana’s overall position at the club, more specifically, that he’s not reliable enough to be considered worthy of a squad place going forward so hopefully this uptick in form/fitness continues and we get a decent wedge for him in the summer.

People are hardly fawning over him though and acknowledging he had a good game isn't losing perspective.

More importantly there are 8 games to go and we need every advantage we can get. If Lallana can put in one more performance like that before the end of the season and it helps bring the title home, then who cares if we get £50m for him or he signs a 10 year contract extension.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

As I said I'm happy he played well but that was all he did, he played well once. If that becomes the norm then I'd be delighted for him/us.

He is on big money with us and has contributed v little in the past two years and I know i am biased but players like him, Lovren, Moreno, Migs and a few others just remind me of failure.

Personally I'd love him to play a blinder for the rest of the season and either go out on a high or sign a short term contract full of performance based bonuses.

                Brutal

He was our best player Klopp joined and has had his career ****ed by injury.

Associating him with failure is unreasonable at best.

2 seasons ago when he played at the tip of the midfield 3 he was superb for about 4 months. The rest if his time at Liverpool have been injured or crap.

He is an attacking midfielder who doesn't get goals or assists- sorry if that sounds unreasonable but I want/expect more.

I think the point is that he is capable of more... Its his time to sink or swim. If he fails to sparkle then we should be rid. But lets not write him off just yet. We are weak in that position with Keita not settling in the team and Shaq not quite doing ( it in Klopps eyes).

He assisted the lovely cross field ball which led to the first goal.

He assisted Salah in almost getting a penalty. Mane then curled it home.

He assisted the result in setting the pressing tempo.

Numbers are great but results are better.

Basically he's playing for his Liverpool career to be extended and what a wonderful incentive for the guy.
More performances like that should do the trick.

Its probably his first extended break from 1st team football for 10 years. Some players can hit the ground running, like they've never been away, others need that 'rhythm'.

Whether he can get enough of it to re-establish himself in the first team or if he could hold that place if he had it are the key questions for Klopp this summer. If he steps down a level, he'll be a big hit. He's a class player, silky touch, great vision, run all day, spidey senses in terms of positioning and pressing. My concern is whether he has time to get back sharp and up to speed before the season is over.

De Light, Werner and a bag of sand to replace Moreno this summer please.

As I said he played well vs Burnley and has earned his spot vs Fulham for me. I was referring to the previous 2 years where he was either injured or ****e
