      Hamstring injury by some reports.

Probably it for the season now depending on severity. Might be better off and just write this one off.

As I said in the match thread. His LFC career is finished, Klopp loves him though so this is going to be a longer goodbye than Sturridge had.

I need to add, it's a shame for the lad soas not to look like a heartless *******. But when the time comes its often pretty clear.

Third edit. And he'll be gutted to miss the world cup.

Yep it doesn’t look good for him & he is possibly finished as a Liverpool player.

I doubt Klopp will sell him. Lallana's one of those players who has the manager's backing regardless, a bit like Kuyt under Rafa. He gets his ideas, and is a good lad to have around. Also, I think Klopp will just write off the season for Lallana, with the aim of getting him back to peak fitness in pre-season.

He's a good squad player when he can stay fit. Don't think he's as important to the team as he was last season.

Bearing in mind the season we're having, and how little Lallana has played, I don't think he's important to us at all. That could be an advantage for him as Klopp doesn't need to find a replacement desperately

I didn't mean to bin him, I meant that Klopp is probably relaxed about the situation

He's a squad player at the moment, but given that we have a fairly small squad in comparison to the sides around us, and Lallana's performances in the past I doubt that we would look to move him on.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                            the new sturridge.
lads, you have to just accept that no matter how good a player has been when he has had his 'best moment' you also need to realise that some of these lads will inevitably not be able to maintain their fitness and will then need to be relocated to stoke, west ham or southampton.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Aye, a shame but I’d sell him. Gotta be ruthless to move to the next level. Dirk is a poor comparison cos he was always fit & played most games.
                              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

But that's not what I meant. Both were/are favourites of the manager, because they understand their ideas and were/are able to execute them.

Rafa has his players in Pellegrino, Zenden, Lucas, Kuyt, in that they knew what he wanted. Pellegrino was seen as someone who could help our team learn zonal marking better.

Lallana knows the triggers on when to press, and how to do it effectively. Even if he's not a regular, having that on the training pitch is invaluable for those around him. He's going to be 30 in May, and unless Klopp really needs the funds, there's no point in selling him. It gives us an extra option and strength in depth.
