We need to sign a central midfielder. If Keita had come in, we may have managed with Can, Wijnaldum and Grujic as back-ups. Now we need a quality player to come in.
Even the links to Oxlade-Chamberlain have fallen flat, with Chelsea seemingly in for him and VVD.Comment

Things like this shows our squad is way to small. Especially the way we play. Good player but prone to injuries.

The squads not suited for a full league season. It felll to bits in January and just about got over the finish line. We needed major additions to the squad to move to the next level but yet again so far it's a let down summer.Comment

It's frustrating, I was expecting a few players to be out with little injuries a few weeks here and a couple of months there, but it's frustrating to be picking them up before the season has started. Lallana will be a big miss, I think that we need at least another midfielder to give us options as we will (hopefully) have alot of games this season.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.Comment

This is his 9th injury with us, the previous eight have kep him out for 28 games. 3rd time in four years he's missing the start of the season.
