Firmino is in the top ten for chances created in the league and bar Kane (who would shoot from a k/o), Salah has had most shots on target in the PL. This isn't a coincidence. Salah and Mane were to be our main attacking threats this season, with Firmino supporting them. If the stats were the other way round, 1 in 2 ratio for striker and winger creating chances, less of an issue would be made of it, but it seems every time we don't score Firmino is always going to take the brunt of the blame.
We'll yes, if our winger 'was in the top ten' at creating chances (which isn't an amazingly impressive a stat) and a striker had the most shots on target then we've have scored significantly more goals imo.

We've been the best side but have been wasteful with chances, and we have a system set up for our striker to give chances to midfielders to try and score from. Maybe we're over thinking this attacking business.

Fine margins in these games and we should have scored at least one of them.
Out of all those chances the biggest miss was Can

      Why didn't he head it???

I said to my dad last night whilst discussing the match, if that ball had been played into Andy Gray he'd have buried it with his head

Not sure if a corner is a chance created but Lovren's miss at the end was ridiculous. Arguably easier than Can running on to a dinked ball, not that I'm excusing Can.

How hard is it to head down under little pressure?

          aint stats brilliant
we are a little arse about tit though...

we have our 'striker' making chances for our wingers.
when our wingers put the ball back across the goal the striker is no where to be seen...
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

But then again if that ball had been played to Robbie Fowler he'd have buried it with his Arse/shin/heel/hooter/head/left foot, right foot/knee *delete as applicable, but it would have been buried.

Honestly that Can chance was a tough one. Too low to get his head on IMO. Too much of a stretch to get it in with his feet.

It would have been an outstanding finish had it gone in.
