Likewise, even if didn't use the N word i think they will come up with some excuse to punish him such as saying "son of a bitch" isn't accepted on a football pitch and that we put in the same bracket as racist.

If S of a B is unacceptable by the F.A. they need to take a walk around grass roots footie on a Sunday morning, half of the country will end up with bans.

They'll set a ridiculous precedent if he is banned for offensive language.

Yeah bit worried about this now, feels like they're scrapping about for any tiny shred of useable evidence, whether circumstantial or hear say, based soley on an assumption that Holgate wouldn't make an accusation like the one made, a very serious career and character tarnishing one, unless it was true.

Hope i'm very wrong on that.

Surely all they need to do is look at the video and speak to Firmino, Holgate, Lallana and Kenny. If none of them heard and there is nothing on the video then that should be the end of it. If they did then the FA can charge him.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

My guess is that Firmino and Lallana heard nothing and Kenny will back Holgate up

If Kenny has heard something then that is fair enough, if he hasn't and he backs up Holgate then he's a scumbag.

Surely though if any of them had heard it they would have reacted as well.

That's the worry mate. Kenny may want to back up his teammate regardless. He may be pressured to, such is the hatred towards us

I don't trust the FA to get this right at all.

Yep that's the fear. If they can get something wrong they usually do and if he gets charged then thats that, evidence or not.

Really strange that this is taking so long.

Would have thought that statements etc would all have been taken whilst everything was fresh in the mind, same with interviews with all involved. Doing interviews/taking statements weeks later does not make a lot of sense.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
