Top mins per PL G&A (min 10, no pens):

    Agüero 89
    Mahrez 99
    Özil 100
    Lukaku 108
    DeBruyne 111
    Deulofeu 115
    FIRMINO 121
    Vardy 121
    Giroud 124
and that working with a worse supply line of any other of those players

Not bad at all that. With him playing as a striker those minutes might go in to 2 figures. Insane considering the crap he's surrounded by, Coutinho has been injured, not played with Sturridge etc

I wonder if he'll be played up top with Sturridge or in behind him. His figures when he's up to are hard to argue with.

Play him off Sturridge IMO. Coutinho behind in the 8 role. Would give us so much more.
          Thanks very much for being

Hopefully for the rest of this season he'll go "full on Firmino" assisting or scoring practically every game like he did with Hoffenheim two seasons ago - 16 goals and 11 assists.

                It's something like 6 games, 6 goals, 5 assists as a striker.

Yeah not worried about Firmino at all, just needs a better calibre of players around him. He must be thinking WTF at this stage. Sturridge/Firmino/Coutinho does sound tasty... not that it's ever going to happen or anything.

The attack (led by Bobby F) did its job today to be fair, they parked the bus and we scored twice to lead two nil.

It's a few of the muppets at the backs that cost us... Again.

yep, took him half a season but you can see that kloppo will build the team around him. a good striker ahead and coutinho behind.

I'm really happy with Firmino, he looks incredibly sharp and he has a football brain. Coupled with a bit more quality up front and midfield, he'll be formidable.

Any chance we can use the early pages of this thread as a lesson if some of the top players we hopefully buy in the summer don't hit the ground running from the very first minute?

Unless of course like Benteke it's an obviously ill advised purchase

5 goals in the last 5 PL games, it just took him a few months to settle lets hope he can continue his good form
