im sure a few games back Benteke had a 70% pass completion ratio and you pointed out it was cobblers and we needed better. Firmino mustered up a 72% against Leicester and he played well. So does that mean Benteke had only been 2% of the golden marker? Poor Big Chris. So near yet so far!

In all Benteke's starts, he has acheived a pass completion rate of 0ver 70 three times, away at Man u and home to Palace and West Ham. In all those game combined he had less passes than Firmino had v Leicester alone.

Firmino hasn't been great for the most part, but this is in relation to people calling him anonymous in the game which he clearly was not.

I don't recall pointing out that it was cobblers, but I will point out Benteke regualary gives the ball away half the time. That is seriously detrimental to our play.

In the Leicester game Henderson had a 70% pass completion and Can had 72%, the only players to better Firmino were the defenders.

He also had one assist and 5 other chances created, six in total, one more than Hendo who came second. Firmino also won 4/6 tackles, compared to Hendo's 3/5.

I think Firmino probably had at least a decent game.

Felt sorry for him today, I thought he worked hard and showed some good movement, and got into some good positions, something just seems to let him down, be it a bad touch at the wrong time or a great effort coming back off the post. I think a goal or two would do wonders for his confidence.

He's a good player but not what we need. We need pacy wide players in Klopp's system and I guess one out of Coutinho and Firmino will be gone next year.

Felt sorry for him today, I thought he worked hard and showed some good movement, and got into some good positions, something just seems to let him down, be it a bad touch at the wrong time or a great effort coming back off the post. I think a goal or two would do wonders for his confidence.

Encouraged by his last couple of games - looks like he's getting used to the pace and physical nature of the Prem. Hope he continues to improve.

I think so too, maybe not always a starter, but this squad Klopp builds needs to have quality, and i think Firmino provides that, and hopefully even more so when having played here longer, and with the better players Klopp brings in going forward.

I think he has a place here.

He's clearly getting there. He's getting into space and he's getting chances and making chances. It's only a matter of time before he starts taking them. The header was woeful though, on a plate!

Hes has obvious quality but he was always a punt ... he has the potential to be Squarez like for us ... or not ... the type of player he is, I think he needs time
