incredibly talented but yeah doesn't do it enough to warrant Barca/Real's attention at the moment. If he could find some consistency he would be the perfect replacement for Iniesta IMO.

Must admit I didn't think he was as awful as people on here are suggesting eitherOriginally posted by Mattshark View PostI don't get this anonymous thing. He tracked back well, he linked play well and created the goal and other chances (more than anyone else on the pitch did). I thought he was very good.
Think people where simply not paying attention.
I think talk of selling him is completely stupidI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Only watched highlights but he seems to have the knack of creating chances. When I have seen him he has looked mobile if not driven. In general though I think it is hard to tell a lack of work rate from adapting to a different type of physicality in the PL. I tend to think his performances have been closer to your impression than that of PTP.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostI don't get this anonymous thing. Had the same thought myself.

If you aren't doing the really noticeable things in a game like creating or scoring goals, or making loads of great tackles, or have massive work rate then people tend to be blind to your efforts. We saw it for years with Lucas " he only passes sideways or backwards", we had "what does he do" regarding Henderson. Milner gets it now too but we missed him badly against Watford. Firmy got pelters in the match thread, such is life.

Once we get some proper strikers that are actually there and not off broken, he'll get more used to playing with them. He's the same as Coutinho, needs some consistency in the players around him. Once thats in he will know how to read them and he'll be an excellent player for us. One to be patient with.
