Looking more like the Firmino of 2015-17. However, he showed last year that he can be an excellent player and is currently part of a team that is top of the PL and just qualified for the CL (and Klopp absolutely loves him). Was hoping he would come good against Napoli but I'm sure it will happen soon.

And he played a beauty to Mane the other day, resulted in a goal. He is having his moments, I think he is slowly picking up form.

Still 1 in 3 this season & half a dozen assists; really slow start to the season, but was back in the central position last night & thought he was tireless for the team. Once incident in the 1st half proves his worth to the team; we took a piss poor corner & Napoli broke rapidly & in numbers, Bobby sprinted from inside there box & hounded down the player with the ball midway in our half. He just works his balls off for the team.

Our expectations of him are massive.

I agree. It is hard to quantify his importance off the ball.

He is still playing pretty well. He was godlike last season, but he tends to go through down patches in previous seasons. I think he will spark up in the new year.

Last couple of games his linkup play seemed to me like it was close to last season’s. Two assists against Bournemouth and kept the ball well against Napoli. Just needs a few more goals and the talk of his form will disappear.
