His lack of movement is a myth, 100% Sky Sports fueled myth. I can't stand it when people regurgitate that nonsense.

He often looks to move into the channels (he did it yesterday and scored albeit he was marginally offside), the problem is most of the balls that get played to him are in the air because that's seen as his strength.

I was a firm believer that he will do well for us, even when the speculation was there I backed him up. It seems that one poor performance and you're written off here and that winds me up no end. I said this in the speculation thread over the summer - back the lad up, give him a chance and he will surprise a few people.

He's been injured and played under 3 managers in a year. Klopp will get the best out of him, I'm sure of it.

I hope you're right Jaymo. Nothing more we'd love than our very own Drogba owning the PL.

I'll tell you what. I'd much rather have him on the field ahead of Sturridge at present as he offers more of a threat.

Benteke is going to score **** loads for us.

I think in this regard Crouch is a pertinent comparison. For me both players do move around a lot but what they don't do is move the defenders and create openings with that movement - they aren't/weren't quick enough at changing positions or clever enough in how they drift into space.

I think Benteke is a decent option and has shown as a sub he can have an impact. I don't think he is really a long term first choice though.

I think we'll buy better and he'll fall down the pecking order till he's sold

I would have agreed with you until I saw him first hand standing about waiting for the ball in the d for most of his time on the pitch on Sunday.

Not looking good for him is it. He's too static, the ball bounces off him a lot and he misses easy chances.

This. Scores the occasional 'blinder' but that's about the only difference. Ah, that and fireworks.
