What a **** idea. Benefits no-one and could damage players unnecessarily. Community Shield is bad enough but to bring players out of their team environments for a one-off at the end of the season is a farce. Let them go on holiday to rest and recharge, not fanny about like prancing horses for the American/global 'soccer' fans...

Players having to play more games with less recovery time, then fly to a despotic country to play in heat, then back to finish the season with no break and lots of games being played close together.I don't hate people. Klopp’s right, as usual. All star games or Pro Bowls are fine when your season only runs for 6-8 months a year.
Football should concentrate on stopping its schedule from getting increasingly out of control, not be looking for ways to make even more money through more games..

Also football is too tribal would you support a team made up of LFC players alongside the players from the two Manc clubs (I would also say Everton as well, but let's be realistic...).
