Liverpool Fc actually has enough financial power to compete with the best. There are a few richer premier league teams of course but as a club LFC can afford far more than virtually all European clubs bar the likes of Barca, real, PSG,Bayern and maybe Juventus. There are good enough players out there that are attainable imo.

Having champions league success definitely helps to attract them though.

Klopp will sort it. Just let him get his feet under the table proper, the journey has just begun.

It's a valid opinion that the honeymoon is over and the players just aren't any good, in which case the decision to sack Rodgers still stands as the correct one. Klopp has a very difficult season ahead, loads of games, injuries, average players and a difficult athmosphere among the fan base. I won't hold it against Klopp if he doesn't get top four, but I do expect better next season.

I'm not sure we have average players. We certainly do have players which maybe not exactly fit a system of play and others who have had problems with consistency and injuries. Klopp has done well for his first two months but we kind of expected an upturn of fortunes due a change of manager, especially one focused on the human aspect of things like Klopp. He didn't take him long to get the players to buy into his philosophy.
              Are we winning?

How many of our players would get into Arsenals, Chelseas, Uniteds or Citys sides???

                Not ****ing many imo

That's your opinion. Chelsea are near the relegation zone so I guess most of our players will walk into their side.

Clyne, Sturridge, Sakho, Milner, Lucas Coutinho, Firminho, Moreno. Obviously Lucas & Milner only Arsenal Firminho based on Hoffenheim form not Liverpools!!

But thats still some quality to build upon.

I think decent proportion of the players are average to decent now, some maybe slightly better but we need excellent players and we are paying wages for excellent players.

Taking form & injuries out the equation, not many

But that's still a big part of the squad that's not up to scratch, say Sakho and Sturridge are injured, and I'd add Henderson although I'm not sure about Milner, wouldn't count him personally.

                          Clyne - * - * - Moreno
                          Henderson - Lucas - Milner
                          Coutinho - Firmino

We have had a large influx of players over the past two years and that hasn't helped. Benteke and Firmino are potentially both excellent players but it could be argued they don't fit into our system or simply need more time.

They don't fit into the same system, which is ludicrous, our two biggest signings can't really play together Benteke is not a player for a top team to build around either, wouldn't call excellent but Firmino potentially is.

What you're suggesting is that if Suarez had a couple of **** games he must be ****. Why can't we have some **** games and return to improvement and spanking teams? I think two games isn't enough to see a trend.
