It's a non event for anyone but us really. Klopp's perfectly entitled to get his point across to his own crowd.

Any negative commentating in the media is on the same pantomime level as the Rafa facts hatchet job.
    Hello mert.

if he can make people realise they have not come to watch a game but they should only be coming to support the team and help make some atmosphere to drive them on then good luck to him.
if he wants to run around the touchline bollocko and it helps us win then let him do it.

the crowd need a little wake up call, the time is now. he is dead right. its a shame the little rabble rousing wasnt following a win but hopefully we can get more from the home crowd [away support is amazing] and then the team feel more responsibility to respond with some decent performances.

          go on lad
          Good post mate.

Who cares what he does, at least he's got the passion to win and bring us together and it's about ****ing time all the miserable cunts in the crowd started getting behind the players instead of sitting there.

I couldn't care less what other fans think, they're only ****ed off because we have one of if not the best manager on the planet, they can all piss off as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't swap Klopp for anyone.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

It is such a pity that we didn't go on and get the winner the other day. It would have further vindicated Klopp's post-Crystal Palace little dig at the crowd.

If Anfield had that atmosphere for the whole game then we would probably have about 10 points more each season.....

I have to say, since he came out, rightly so with the line about the support and people leaving the ground .. sitting at home watching the games on the box, it sounds better .. gradually .. leading to end of that last game when you could hear clearly the Kop roar, cheering the team on ... almost sucking the ball into the net ... could you imagine that kind of support week in week out for 90 minutes or even 30 minutes .. it would have an effect ... I know we are capable of it ... he knows it as well and I think he is just trying to prise it out of us

Steven Gerrard: Klopp made me feel a foot taller - Liverpool players should lick their lips

                            14:00, 17 DEC 2015 UPDATED 14:02, 17 DEC 2015

                            BY KRISTIAN WALSH

Former Liverpool captain, who is training with the Reds this winter, reveals all about Klopp

Steven Gerrard is loving life under Jurgen Klopp - and has revealed how a coffee with the Liverpool boss left him feeling a foot taller.

And the former captain also admits part of him wishes he was still on the books at Anfield so he could play competitively under the German boss.

The midfielder is back at Melwood during the MLS off-season to train with the Reds, his first involvement with the side since leaving for LA Galaxy last summer.

The 35-year-old, who saw his maiden campaign in California end without a trophy following elimination in the playoffs, has heaped praise upon Klopp for the relaxed atmosphere around the club.

He admits he was a fan of the German coach and his Borussia Dortmund team, but has been left even more impressed by Klopp in person.

“I had coffee with him and when I came out of the room I just felt happy,” he told the London Evening Standard. “I felt taller. And I am not one of the players so I can only imagine what he has done to those players in the dressing room.

“The atmosphere at the club is brilliant. The players are buzzing around the training ground and there are smiles all over the place. I think he has lifted the whole place. He wants to be around players who are enjoying it. He does not want players to be tense, worried or concerned. He wants to take all that pressure on his shoulders.

“My impressions from the outside were that I loved him,” says Gerrard. “I loved how charismatic he was on camera, I loved his tactics and I always appreciated Borussia Dortmund, who I watched quite closely in the Champions League. So I was huge fan anyway. But now that I have met him and worked with him, it has gone up a notch.”

Klopp was appointed at the start of October and has lost just two of his first 14 games.

Despite a stuttering few weeks - in which Liverpool have lost to Newcastle and needed a late equaliser at home to West Brom - the optimism around the club is at a season-high.

Gerrard says he wishes he was still a Liverpool player to experience Klopp properly, and that he would be ‘licking his lips’ at the prospect.

When asked if part of him wanted to still be at Liverpool to work with Klopp, he said: “Of course. If I was a player at Liverpool — either a young player or one at my peak — and Jurgen Klopp walked through the door I would be licking my lips.

“The players should be excited. I think to myself, imagine being 25 or 26 and how happy and excited I would be to be working with him.

“So the players should be sitting themselves down and realising what an opportunity they have to achieve success in the next two, three, four or however many years he is here.

“If the players are not feeling it then there is something wrong.”

With the MLS pre-season officially beginning on January 22, Gerrard has had to dismiss speculation over a playing return to Anfield before he returns to the United States.

Many supporters would welcome a return but Gerrard insists he is happy being a fan himself, though it took a little while to adjust.

“I will be honest enough to admit that it killed me when I watched Liverpool for the first time as a fan,” said Gerrard. “I hated it at first. I had a weird feeling in my stomach.

“But now I am used to it and I am happy.”

Gerrard has been saying this about all the managers he's worked with.
