It's been a mixed bag. We've seen some great stuff, and some ****e. But suggesting any of it is Klopps fault is ridiculous.

We are luckier to have him than he is to have us as things stand. He inherited an unbalanced squad with loads of players we have overpaid for who don't fit into a coherent team shape. WTF is he supposed to do with that?

Whether we go on a 'spending spree' is irrelevant to our need to getting a group of players that can play together to a decent plan. What are the alternatives? We have seen Klopps plan can work, what we need is for him to get in some players he can rely on. Brendan is responsible for creating this. Sticking with him and doubling (trebling) down on him with continued transfer windows would have been madness.

Klopp was brought in as thing werent working under BR, the squad he's inherited is ok, not terrible but not brilliant and he's got to work with what he has at the moment. We lack confidence and quality at the moment, until he's allowed to go into the market and try to mould this side into what he wants its going to be making the best of what he has.

We were 100% right to make the change when we did as we need to move forwards, the short term will be tough - as is being shown but Klopp is a genuine top class manager.

I think that this squad is good enough to finish top 4 and that Klopp's man management would have made us challenge after a few weeks, which it seemed to do. So, I do believe in him and his methods but we should have bounced back after the Newcastle game, not surrendered miserably like this. We were lucky to draw against West Brom and now this.

Well, essentially Klopps job, as with any managers is to 'sort it out'. And I am sure he will. Getting on his case just now is mental though. The squad, which is not his, is clearly not good enough you cannot polish a turd.

Clearly we are a team in transition, capable of winning - but ultimately not good enough. It's not black and white is it? It's shades of grey. Getting on Klopps case is as nonsensical as your POV.

Even the lowest team in the table can do a blinder against the top team that wins the league. That doesnt make their team amazing. Just clicked on the day perfectly, luck was right, the other team didnt turn up as strong as they could have. Thats us.

You also keep forgetting this entire team was one Rodgers had. Klopps brought in none of his players yet. Rodgers kept bringing in more and more worthless players till the team was useless. Even our best players he had nothing to do with. So no, there is no double standard here. You compare Klopps previous team management, then compare Rodgers previous 2 management outcomes. Look at the players, look at the style, look at the performances and trophies. Let Klopp have a couple transfer windows and he'll absolute trounce Rodgers legacy. Which is pretty much Suarez.

City allowed us space in between the lines. Southampton were the better team until Danny worked his magic. Second half they went gung ho and we tore them to pieces.

Chelsea couldn't be bothered. When we come up against teams who work hard and don't allow space we struggle. Primarily because we lack pace & also because we lack movement in the offence and power in the midfield.

Southampton performance is also a statistical anomaly in multiple sense - Sturridge was available, scored in 6 out of 7 shots on goal. It is impossible to maintain that level of efficiency in scoring unless you have someone like Ian Rush up front.

This is a new job for him in a new country with new players. He's bound to make mistakes
