Given the competition and money in the league, he has delivered big time. Hope FSG back him with his signings. Get support staff (scouts and negotiators) who are at his level and we will be flying.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostWhile he's not perfect - who is ffs - he's still the best thing to happen to our club in years and I wish we could all have a bit more faith in him.

Can?Originally posted by Cormack74 View PostWhen he made the CL comment post match on BT I wondered if that meant we are looking to sign more players but when I watched the highlights on ITV and he was asked directly about new signings he seemed to imply that there wouldn't be any. Its an arsehole situation that players DEMAND something they should actually be fighting for. However, that is how it is and I hope Klopp isn't inflexible in this regard. He's not at Dortmund anymore, our expectations are to always be in the CL and players we're focusing on buying will be thinking the same (i.e. to be in it already, not have to fight to get in it).One tit for another.

It's a weird scenario being in the premier league. Their are 6 teams capable of winning the league and 2 missing out on CL. No one is really guaranteed it. However we pay the most money so it will attract players. I think that's why the mega mega stars don't come here or stay if they do. The likes of Bale Suarez Neymar Messi Mbappe etc etc want titles and no one is guaranteed that in England.

Like many of us have said, we need a much deeper squad. There are enough games for everyone!Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

So how much has Klopp effected the types of players we are linked with in this window?
Mane rejected Man Utd, Keita signing, VVD wanting us over Chelsea and City, Chamberlain rejecting Chelsea because he wants Liverpool.
Some of those things up for a bit of debate, but he has 1000% improved our standing in the eyes of the top level players.
We may not get some or any of the targets linked with us in the next day or so. But its pleasing to be back at that table for them. Not fighting for the scraps with the tier below.*Except Michael, who died.

Kudos to Klopp as knew this would come as everyone is starting to notice what is happening at Liverpool! Klopp probably has considerable influence in the corridors of power, almost like Shanklyish so long may it reign...To be honest, it probably took someone like Klopp to get the club back on it's feet & makes sure it is steady enough to walk before it can run.Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

When we can attract players we all really want to sign (including the manager) then the prospect of losing players, which is pretty much inevitable at any club, is far less daunting. The prospect of players like Coutinho and Can leaving would usually spell disaster for our chances in the short term, but now it's possible to see it as opportunity.Originally posted by Alex View PostSo how much has Klopp effected the types of players we are linked with in this window?
