All systems have flaws but good players tend to cure everything
Come on Lecter. You keep on referring to that golden period but it's not comparable. It's a different game now. If it was that simple, they would be successful managers in this day and age replicating the same tried and trusted methods of that era, rather than being part time pundits.

I completely buy into Klopp's idea and philosophy but you need 11 competent footballers out there to execute 'total football'.

It's all a bit hit and miss at the moment but I guess we all need to have a bit of patience and another transfer window.

Patience is the key as frustrating as things are. I've heard a few people commenting that they've lost faith in Klopp and things of the same ilk. This is ridiculous really.

That Seville side, as a team, play better than any PL side. They were and always have been very impressive.

Yep. They are one of the best teams in Spain and we played them off the park for 45 mins.

It does feel a bit at the moment that if we don't play every team off the park in a 5-0 then it's a disaster.

Klopp has raised expectations massively. We've been waiting for ever for elusive and deserved glory, meaning while we wait with and end product tangible again so every bump on the road is exaggerated.
              Modifying post.

I've seen a BBC radio phone in snippet posted on FB a couple of days ago when someone complained that they lost faith in Klopp delivering anything in terms of titles. I could try and find it again, but I'm at work, so might wait tonight to post it.

The same principles and fundamentals still apply though

The thing is players like Lovren & Moreno make elementary mistakes week in week out

                    Its absolute basics

Good players in ANY position will improve your overall performance
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Ah. I wouldn't bother, the BBC are getting worse at curating content. During the city game the live feed had a comment that said Klopp teams always bottle it against the big teams.

We sure did and were great to watch , game should have been settled .

Love watching us again now under Klopp,

But i am at a loss how the whole of last season Moreno wasn't considered good enough for us with Milner playing at left back ,

We then sign a left back and now find Moreno playing for us.

This deffo seems to have an affect on our defending , while Moreno has been good attacking wise

There are plently of posts alluding to the suggestion, without outright coming out and saying it, but Baitman is a bit less ambiguous.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Klopp on the defence: "It's a lack of concentration. We had a lot of games with decent defending performances."
Adam Lallana can maybe start running early next week. Ingsy is in training. Clyney still far away.

Mignolet is still our number one. He will play 85% or 87% of games this season.

Milner being a defensive option: "If he is on the bench with no other left back then yes. He trains in midfield."

on Robertson: "It is so difficult to leave him out. Alberto Moreno has played outstandingly."

Clyney should stay very far away
