Jurgen Klopp has delivered a robust defence of his Liverpool centre-backs as he insisted that other top clubs would want to sign them. Klopp: "You really should try to go & ask other clubs what they think about [our] defenders & whether they would like to pick them."Last edited by Bender; 15-09-17, 10:36 PM.

As a fan base we are really ****ty for over-analysing every word our manager utters in press conferences. It started with Woy I think, but then we over-analysed Brendan's management bull**** far too much, and now are doing the same with Jurgen.
He's stuck with this squad until January, so he's got to convince them that they are good enough, and instill some swagger into their play. He's hardly going to come out and say "yeah, they're ****e but what can I do", is he?

****ing hell.
Liverpool fan Frank tore into manager Jurgen Klopp after his side 1-1 draw at home to Burnley.
Speaking to Robbie Savage and George Riley on 606, Frank fumed: "We’ve got one of the biggest circuses at Anfield at this moment, at Liverpool football club, and the biggest clown of the lot is Jurgen Klopp.
"Today, we looked good looking forward, and guess what? There was no plan B, and no plan C. Well, I’ll give you plan A for Jurgen Klopp: You’ve had your time, son. At the end of the day, thank you very much but I want a manager that needs to understand football reasons to show that you build a team from the back, mate!
"The defence needs to be sorted out! He should have doneModifying post.

Two years and zero defensive improvements. He deserves criticism for our inability to defend, it's his mess now, not Rodgers or anyone else's.
No one seriously wants him gone but it's perfectly acceptable to criticise someone when they've been in the job two years and the defense is still a shambles.

I don't want him gone or anything that extreme, but he needs to start turning this around sharpish.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

You would like to think that, the problem is if the defence isn't sorted to some extent it could be this season that defines him, we could easily drop out of the top 4 and not make the CL which would make it more difficult to recruit players next summer.Originally posted by Bender View PostThink next season could well be his defining season..Kieta will be here,But if Klopp doesn't sort out the defence he'll have nobody to blame but himself, even during yesterdays game he was telling the crowd to be patient.....the tide is slowly turning against him imo.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
