Look you can say we make individual mistakes leading to goals and that is true but we knew we had massive defensive issues and didn't address them. You can say we miss chances but we knew we didn't have a clinical striker fit at the club to finish teams off. The midfield gets cuts to ribbons as we well knew .. the balance is all wrong and we have nobody in there to protect the defence. All these things everyone has been mentioning all last season and yet they are still happening.

Team and manager are the problem at the moment but it is the managers job to sort this out.
As far as I'm aware he wanted Keita and Van Dyke which are massive upgrades on what we have. Going back to multiple managers after they leave we keep on hearing of transfer failures. So it seems like once again the board has failed.

We are like the England national team, just blame the manager and not the quality of the players especially in the key area of center mid, plus our defenders are awful, wouldn't start for Newcastle.

So sure let's just go ahead and slag off a world class manager, get a new one and do this all over again and suffer for another 5 years. I've been on message boards ages and the comments are earily similar, with the outlier being Hodgson who is absolutely garbage.

We have a problem with our backroom staff, the Americans are good business people but need to find some top class football brains to operate behind the scenes. All these other comments on formations etc etc are tedious and have been spoken about for ages since we won last the league.

We had one complete team since we last won the league and that was Rafa's when he finished second and we should have walked it that season, he allowed Fergie to get in his head.

Rafa made a better fist of it under Hicks and Gillet. Why is Klopp finding transfer windows so difficult with MORE money?

are these assistants of klopp's are just yes men.

we needed a top class defender but couldnt get our main target, so we got no one.

we needed some midfield beef so klopp bought oxlade. maybe he is a back up winger or something but not really what we needed.

we dont need another goalie as we have three, one for the league, one for champs league and one for the cups.

this is ok, this is normal

every ****ing year we need a major clean out but we keep adding pussies
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I think every Liverpool fan in the world knew that defence was our major issue and yet we bought ZERO CBs in the window. I can't fathom how they could be so negligent, this VVD or nobody bull**** doesn't cut it - Chelsea bought Morata after missing out on Lukaku because they needed a CF and look at him score for fun.

The £40m spent on Ox (who is getting no game time) seems crazy when we needed a CB, he'll get less time when Lallana is fit. Our transfer business has again ****ed us this summer and I'm not sure if it is Klopp's stubbornness, Edwards's inexperience or FSG being tight arses.

              .
Mingolet, Gomez, Moreno, Lovren, Henderson, Couthino, Sturridge

Given his record and how this team plays when everything clicks I'm happy to give him this season and next to get his own players in and get us playing exactly how he wants.

Because if he gets it right we'll win the league irrespective how many billion Citeh spend.

Keita next season is just the start
Oh ok so Klopp has wasted two seasons just to start bringing in his own players in his 3rd and 4th season to get things right.....Oh well that makes sense.

This team is so unbalanced it's a joke.....players can't do the simplest of things and the manager can't coach and refuses to acknowledge there are problems and sort them out.

You can't coach mistakes out of players like Mignolet, Gomez, Lovren and Moreno it's impossible

You can't also make Wijnaldum tackles and win more second balls

Equally you can't turn Henderson into Steven Gerrard or Xabi Alonso and you can't coach our club footed forwards to put the ball in the net

For me the biggest problems I have with Klopp is current team selection and failure over 4 transfer windows to address any of the problem positions that have been clear to see for years

Newcastle's goal wasn't because of a mistake, just general ****ness.

Why? Sure you can, or you drop him.

No, you replace them as a priority instead of loading up on attacking midfielders.

Klopp's bought one striker, a kid on a free, two CBs, one of which is ****ing gash, an £8m left back and a **** goalkeeper in our most obvious problem positions. But CM is where it's at imo, and he's bought Wijnaldum and Grujić. Ignoring the AM's, that's a ****ing terrible transfer situation. Really ****ing ****. Oh, and there's Keita who's looking like he might come in Jan, and we really ****ing need him to.

People have been saying for years that player X, Y & Z would be coached by manager A,B & C

Basically if you are ****e you cant change it

Wijnaldum shouldnt be near that side

Agreed he should have bought a holding midfielder and some half decent defenders

                        Major mistake imo

I have been saying the same since before the window closed

Very remiss to not get a centrehalf in and I dont buy this **** that only Van Dijk is better than Lovren

I think personally its harder to find a defender worse than Lovren that isnt already on our books

Maybe we can take a leaf out of City's books. The midfield is not working. It just isn't and there's no magic wand to fix it.

                              Maybe we could try:

                              Coutinho(Silva)----------Firmino (KDB)
                              ------------Can (Fernandinho)------------

Up top, it has to be Solanke now (for physical presence), with Salah and Mane either side.

We could also take a leaf out their books and give Klopp a billion quid to spend on players.
